What's the best way to remove the frame from the vent window so I can install a new pin? The pins on both my vents are rusted thru.

same problem here, in the chilton manual it says to remove the window from frame using a special glass and channel tool, its probably best to take them to a body shop, i'm sure they have one. i dont see purchasing a tool that you're use maybe once or twice in a lifetime depending on cost.

Thanks.... got it apart. the window setting tape used to put it back in is hard to find, but I found some. Also, the window tape thickness is 1/16"
