Hey guys, my name is Jack, Im new here. Ive been having problems with my 94 Bronco, 5.8L. Speedometer doesnt work (not acting crazy, just not working), ABS light on, and hard shifting, mainly from 1st to 2nd.
I pulled the codes KOEO, got 452 and 172. I know 172 has to do with my O2 sensors, Ill worry about that another day. 452 says weak signal from the VSS. I replaced it with a BWD sensor, and still the same problem. The BWD sensor looks completely different from the one I pulled out, yet it still fits.
My question is, should I try another VSS that matches the one in there OEM first, before going on and trying more? Or is the one from BWD the same, just shaped different?
