I noticed my rig is not shifting to second properly it goes high, and clunks into 2nd.

Not all the time. Just recently i noticed this only happens when I have my ac on 90% of the time.
Sometimes it does not do a thing.
I made sure to check fluids,
I threw the obd1 and got a 111, 10,
172 and 452.
I ask the wisdom of you fine gents. Is this a rear O2 sensor , or injectors ...the ac thing brings me to believe a 02?? Help

Hey zalkins
172 in memory is indicating a rich condition, not much to do with shifting, but should be addressed at some point.
452 is a loss of speed signal to the pcm which will definitely affect shifting. Not certain how the a/c is involved, unless the diode across the a/c clutch has gone open circuit. Try and see if the fault is acting up as the compressor shuts off. (I’ve seen one in my career, it affected the idle speed control, but a voltage spike is a voltage spike!)
Does the speedo fluctuate up and down when the weirdness is happening?
