Gentlemen, I am currently looking to upgrade the brakes on my 1985 Bronco. I have sever wear on both front discs and they need to be replace :(( . After carefully inspecting the set up I am uncertain that I can upgrade the calipers & discs :( /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> . I was wondering if anyone has done asimilar project or do I need to just go with OEM relacement parts?

You should be able to do that by yourself. Get a Chiltons or Haynes for the step by step proceedure. You will need a spindle nut socket that can be found at most auto parts stores. By upgrade I take it you mean replacement with a heavier duty setup. Check out jeff's Bronco Graveyard 80 and up catalog. you can download a PDF version of it free. http://www.broncograveyard.com

Jeff's is a real good source and I have never had any trouble with them. Also if you call them, you will get someone who knows what he is talking about. They have always been real helpfull in answering questions when I have called.

Good luck,

:)>-
