So this has been a very vague issue over the passed year. Like 3 times I've noticed either taking a right or left while pressing the throttle will make it not catch 1st or second gear without a thump. I've also focused in on when. And it's happened when the heat is on more than not on.
It's NOT slipping out of gears at all.
Just won't catch.
And always only 1st or second. And while I turn.

My question is what the.??? Is there a Trans air? module that could be throwing it off catching gear? Is it because my brake pads are shit? It dosent make sense. Like all the wiring and electrical now showing it's age

Hey Zalkins:
Most of the time, flare on turns is low fluid level or the seal between the filter and valve body is leaking. It doesn’t explain the other weirdness, but I’d start with a trans service including a new filter, and see where it goes.
Hope that helps.
Cheers!

Ditto, Seen filters fall off or leak around the seal and do this.

Check your third brake light.

Might seem crazy .... but the ECU looks at voltage to the third brake light to see if the brakes have been applied. If it reads voltage, it un-locks the torque convertor .... and automatically disengages the cruise control.

A short in the housing might cause this when turning
