I have a 2.9l 4x4. My truck used to hesitate, in gear (O/D), for about 25secs. Then it would go. But now, It hardly has any power. It feels like if you have a standard and let out the clutch just enough for the car to roll. Any clues. By the way it has a rebuilt tranny, and only has about 1,000 miles on it. and Yes the fluid level is fine. My truck works in R,1,2 and Drive. But not in O/D

I take it that it works fine in drive and shifts through all 3 gears, right? Is it possible that when it was put back in that the gear shifter was one notch off or the indicator was not set in the proper position? Perhaps you are really starting out in some other gear, like 3rd, (not sure how the BII shifter is arranged) (P N OD D 2 1) (P N OD 3 2 1)?

Good luck,

:)>-
