I am building my truck into a trail rig, and right now I have a NP205 but I heard of a 2 case that came in 77 pickups (probaly other years too) that had a 2wd low. Online at jeff's bronco graveyard I found a twin stick setup for the NP205 for like $135 what does the twin stick really allow you to do? will this give me a 2wd low like that other t case?

yes it would. You can shift the front and rear seperatly. So you could go move one shifter to 4low and move the other shifter for the front to nuetral. I love the twin stick. You can also just go out and get another factory shifter and bend it a bit to make it work. requires a little fab work.

My father has a '75 f250 highboy with a single shifter in the cab. The transfer case has 5 selections. All the way down is 2-hi, move it straight up you've got 2-low. Move out and around to find N and up and back to the passenger side to find 4-hi, 4-low is above that. Not sure what kind of case it is though, the highboys had a divorced transfercase and he bought it modified and used. The 360 was swapped for a 351m and now has a 400. Hope this may help.

Just wanted to let you know I got a second stick and have come up with a way to mount and pivot both sticks each linked to thier respective shift rail, only thing I am worried about is taking out the rails and modding them without screwing anything up, do you know of any companys that sell all ready moded rails for this application? ORD is supposed to have them but I can't find them
