i have a 89 351w electronic fuel injection 4x4. with a c6 trans. wanting to swap it for a overdrive trans. any info and all of parts needed to swap, would be very greatful.thank you

your gonna need new drive shafts for sure and depending on transmission your gonna need the computer to shift it (e4od transmission) ,or the linkage and throttle body for an aod (automatic overdrive transmission) that's my half ass 2 cents but it's roughly what u need /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

if u go with the older self contained AOD u need to adjust the TV (throttle valve) cable in order for the transmission to shift correctly and not destroy its self. there's how too online and even one on YouTube I believe that are pretty useful. just google AOD tv cable adjustment
