The point is to help people with problems that you have come across and solved. I really don't think anyone owes you anything. I really hope you were joking because that was pretty rude. :-& #036;

sounds like your clutches in your trans have froxe togather my 65 ford truck did does that when i was coming back from mississippi where i got it at 20 miles away from where i got it the trans would not shit in to third and it keep poping out of gear i came all the way back up to va cause ii had no time to get it reparddown there i got it home in 2nd gear. and sone day when i was taking it to a car show up town it all of a sudden stayed in gear and shifted in to third and i took the trans out a month later and the clutch disks were frozen at one time. so it soulds like time to rebuild the thing

Heres a mod to reply to your post . 1st thing no one here and I mean no one here owes you anything #2 no one here and I mean no one here owes you anything #3 no one here and I mean no one here owes you anything #4 If I had seen your rude coments earlier they would have probably been your last post here . #5 If anyone else here had encountered the problem your having Im sure they would have added a comment or maybe they saw how rude you were being and decided to not get involved . #6 being that an AOD shifts completely off that TV cable and its adjutsment is very critical to operation then I would check that first but being that your smart ass already checked that then it just cant be it correct . So if the cable is adjusted correctly , the fluid is full , Then your more than likely in for an expensive repair , Oh and if you have any problems with my comment feel free to PM me or ad a comment here but if you feel the urge to be rude make very sure you go back and read comment 1-2-3 and pay special attention to #4 Good luck with the tranny :D /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Why don't you learn something about your truck and be a contributor to the forum rather than a leach. I saw your rude comment and was one of the ones that decided not to respond to a ***** post like that. Go to a transmission shop.

yeah well everyone does have bad moods for sure but, you did it twice not once. i'm not getting involved but you have to use etiquette here just like in real life.

mods are on forums to maintain the flow and function of the boards and keep them clean. the fact that the mods here are knowledgable mechanically is a bonus. there's plenty of sites where they don't have a clue.

considering he posted it for me its not his truck to learn anything about..secondly i know everything there is to know about my truck but i dont usually run with AOD's cause IMO they are ******. If you think that him asking for help was a ***** post then you are the *****...some "tech help"

Swampthing, did you read the whole post? Try again right from the beginning. The way you were adding your comments to this post, I was wondering if you were reading a different thread and posting here
