Where do you guys keep your tow strap when not in use, but need it fairly avaiable? Such as for example, most guys with pickups will have it hooked to their hitch, then just toss the rest in the bed of the truck with a little sag in the line..when needed, just grab/pull and they have their strap ready to go..

We are expecting another huge winter storm here, and I like my strap to hang out ready to go...but with my Bronco, I don't want to roll down the back window and let the cold air in, nor do I want to get my wet/mag chrolide/dirty strap all over the carpet in my cargo area.

So what do you guys do? ..I hooked my one end to my hitch, then wrapped the strap around the back of the spare tire, and hooked the other end to a special hook I made for the center of the spare tire.

Also thought of this idea! I would like to put two or three bars across my license plate area. By doing this, this will create a 'basket' setup. I have a tow hitch, so I don't have a need for the factory drilled hole for a 2" ball..so I thought if I put two or three bars across opposite from the rear license plate in the bumper, I could use that space forsmall odds and ends while camping/offroading and ect.. what do you guys think?

Just make sure it won't obstruct the view of rear license plate.
