OK ******* BFG decided not to make a 32x11.5x15 all terrain tire anymore. Question is, has anyone used a 33 on stock rims with no lift? I'm used to the rubbing on the radius arms, just wondering if they will hit elsewhere. The front bumper has already had spacers installed to push it out an inch or 2 by the previous owner, so I'm wonderin if I can stuff the 33's under without any other issues.

By all means. Hells YES!

it almost doesn't look right having a bronco with less than a 33" tire on it lifted or not. with the bumper spaced already you should have no other issues than the normal radius arm rub. I ran 33's on stock 1980, and 89 pickup and bronco before tossing on the lifts. the only difference is with the older fords no bumper shimming is required.

50Joe,

You Can by all means run 33's on stock, But you will have minor rubbing while turning(Just don't turn as sharp fixes that). I run 15x10 Rims, with 33x12.5x15, But I was irritated by the rub every now and then, so I installed some 2" Polyurithane Spacers under the front end.

Just some thoughts.

I was used to the rubbing. Whats on there now does that, but with such a tight turning radius, doesn't really interfere with much. Just trying to keep from going too big with anything. Have a 30 mile round trip to work, good portion highway, so I dont want to **** the ride too much.

K, it's a done deal. Took off the 32x11.5's on 15x7 rims, and replaced them with a new combo. Jumped up to a 16x8.5" wheel, with 305/70/16 BFG All Terrains. (measures out just shy of a 33x12.5). Not only looks and rides better, but now I can actually turn the wheel farther then before thanks to a slight offset. Wasn't looking for rims, but couldn't pass up the deal.( I know, needs a bath)

Looks nice, and no bath required; I think they look better in their natural mud color....
