timing chain

i have about 166k mile on my bronco and i was wondering if i should replace the timing chain. i will be replacing the radiator and water pump anyways and i just figured it would be easy to replace it with all that room. any help is appreciated.

I would. They can go bad at any time and they cost about $25 for the set. You are that far into the engine so yes you mind as well.

I didn't have to do that with mine. With the front of the motor apart I was able to get to the front oil pan bolts that go into the timing chain cover.
