I purchased a tie rod link kit from BGY about a year and a half ago. The passengers side outer tie rod end is already shot! Anyone purchase one of these kits and how was your luck with them? I hate to be a nark but i think i need to call them and let them know!

I always make sure they are greased up, and dont do much wheeling with my truck. Just a couple of trips to some sand dunes, where i dont do anything extreme and i always make sure i clean everything afterwards.

If they are only a year old I would deffinately contact someone. You can get the el cheap o's from AutoZone and they will last longer than that under extreme conditions. Contact someone. They may have a recall on that particular part or may not even know about it. --Vince

The ones from AZ are good. I am a FORD Mechanic and use alot of parts from them. The price you pay are good and the quality is usually really good. --Vince

im not going to make excuses for them but sometimes other factors are at play. front end alignment, the condition of your other components. larger tires with no steering damper. just things to consider. If your alignment is close to zero toe in you may get a condition that pushes/pulls on the tierods all the time. Does your truck wander on the highway?

My steering is a bit loose but it dont do much wondering, just lack of correction (Or more slack in the wheel when correcting persay) Stock size tires and everything. Im pretty easy on it.
