So I've got a 460 out of a 1979 F-150 that i want to put it in a 73 bronco. i'll have it mated with a 435 & a 205. my question to the world is is this a good idea or a bad one. the bronco is for 'wheeling only and i'm looking for some extra power. if i go with this application what will i be looking at for under the hood mods? does advance adapters make motor mounts for this or will i be on my own? cutting away inner fenders is not an issue with me.

I know a guy who had the same combo. He kept twisting axles off until he went with D60s front & rear. Make sure the suspension is up to the task with all the added weight like Bob said.

You will probably have to make your own motor mounts too.
