G'day fellow bronco II owners,

After the long search for a set of affordable heads, I have found a set. They are now installed on the B2. Unfortunately the weather has taken a turn towards cold and snowy. Now they Bronco will have to wait for completion. Just figured I would give you all something to read. More to come when the sun comes out.

ebay has some affordable heads, now if your talking about the redesigned heads i dont know how affordable they are, i would find a local machine shop and check on getting yours rebuilt if not cracked, i got ""both"" heads checked for cracks cleaned and new valve job for 100 bucks (for both)

Got the heads from a local salvage yard, only set he had, but I had called around and there is another set in KY, about thrity minutes from here for 100 dollars. I had mine inspected for cracks and cleaned. I replaced the valve stems seals myself, and put them on. I drove her last Sunday and the engine runs great. Glad to have her up and running.

glad to hear you got it running, i too have missed mine! On dec 23 i tried to take out a mudhole that was way to deep and sucked mostly mud into the intake and that spun all my bearings. the motor was on its way out anyway tho so i pulled the motor took the block and heads and crank to a machine shop they bored engine .40 over and redid the heads and found me another crank to turn as mine was unturnable and then it took me about 2 months on and off and when i had the money to put her back together, now she is running like a top or as good as you can expect from a 2.9 that was the worst engine to rebuild, if it has to come out again a 302 is going back in.
