Could be a bad connection, but more likely a break in the wire or bad switch. Wires sometimes break in the bend where they go from the tailgate into the bedwall. Or it could be the dash switch or the key switch. I've seen it more often the dash switch but it could be either. Both locations get ground through the dash switch. The diagram from Seabronc (in post #2 above) can help you figure it out.

O.K., I should have said that both, my rear window switch as well as my rear window de-froster dosen't work. I took the access panel to the tailgate off today and found that the tailgate window motor had been rigged up with just electrical tape. So I properly repaired that and found that on the left side of the tailgate on the inside are 2 wires that appeared to hae been pulled from something. I also saw on the rear window that there are two de-froster ends with no wires attached. I know that one of the wires controls the de-frost because I tested the wires with the de-frost on and it lit the test light but did not when I turned the de-frost off. Should there be two wires going to the de-froster? Or is one possibly for the rear window switch?
