Been looking all over and having a hard time finding parts. Right now I'm looking for all the hindges, latches, and associated hardware that goes with the tailgate. I have 95 V8 5.8 bronco Eddie Bauer. Thanks for any help

You are not likely to find those parts except at a local friendly junk yard.  Unless they are toast, take them off and soak in something like Rust Mort, (can be found in quart cans at places like Auto Zone).  Dump it into a container that the parts will fit into and let the part soak over night. It does a great job of totally removing rust. Also, you can keep it to reuse the next time you want to remove rust from a part. After that lubricate and replace the part.

CAUTION: When removing the tail gate, watch out for the tortion bar.  It can break your arm.  Just open the tail gate far enough to get the retaining bracket on the right side off to release the tortion bar.  When reinstalling it, do the same.

Good luck,

:)>-

yo beachbronco13,

WELCOME!

Parts Swap & Replacement in an 88 (many photos) SAME for your 95
Source: by Dustin S (Dustball, Mellow Yellow, Mr. Laser Boy) at ylobronc.users.superford.org (http://ylobronc.users.superford.org/tailgate.html)

As Seabronc advised; watch out for the tortion bar; Dustin also warns of it;

"....

The next step is to remove the bracket holding the torsion bar to the body.  Take extreme care here as the bar packs a lot of force.  I recommend trying to remove the bracket while the tailgate is as closed as possible to relieve pressure on the bar.  I was foolish enough to do it with the tailgate down.  Both bolts broke off allowing the bar to snap back and sent the bracket off to never-never land.  I was never able to find the bracket so I had to get another one..."

Lubricant - Hinge, Door and Tailgate

Use Multi-Purpose Grease Spray D7AZ-19584-AA or equivalent meeting Ford specifications ESR-M1C159-A and ESB-M1C106-B to lubricate door and tailgate hinges. Apply an even coat to all hinge pivot points as outlined in the maintenance schedules or when a binding or squeaking condition occurs.

Weather strip

Use Silicone Lubricant C0AZ-19553-AA (jelly) and D7AZ-19553-AA (spray) or equivalent meeting Ford specification ESR-M13P4-A on the door and window weather strips (WS)  whenever necessary. Silicone lubricant helps avoid weatherstrip squeaks and retards excess weather strip wear from chafing between the door glass upper frame and the weather strip. It also helps to retain door window alignment by reducing friction between the glass frame and the rubber weather strip.
