Hi all,

I just bought a new tailgate and discovered that the hex holes used to tighten down the backing plate behind the handle don't have the little threaded inserts for attaching the plate. They look like a special item but I can't find them on any of the bronco stores online. Does anyone know if these things are available anywhere or are they just standard hardware??

Thanks,

Chris

You can glue. or tac-weld some nuts in place...however, it's better if they float.

You can buy the pop-in" anchors as well. Try a fastener outlet/supplier.....they should be able to help you.

Hopefully, you don't have to modify the hole size.

Lastly, did you contact the t-gate supplier......? seems odd they weren't included... /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />
