SuperDuty Bronco???

Been doing game elements and game mods since Duke Nukem 3D, if your into 4x4 evo2 drop over to KC Vales website and search for "Merlin" and you will find a few tracks and a few trucks I did. Now if I could just get more time to work on my Real Bronco.

I am spending about $10 a day to get to and from work (61.5 miles total) Lack of overdrive helps with that cost.

when chopping an Excursion to Bronco length, would it be easier to cut the frame and reweld it, or get a frame from an old bronco? What does it take to cut the frame? Is it still structurally safe? My main concern is the frame, not the body. I am going to do a frame up build. I just don't know what I should do about the frame, because I found a dirt cheap Excursion, and wanna shorten it to a two door, but I just need help with the frame. Any Ideas???
