Steering Question

Hey guys I have an 88 bronco and it has alot of play in the steering wheel and i was wondering if a steering stabilizer would help that or do i need a new steering collum?

It will not "cure" the loose steering, may only help control it some. Check on the problem causing it. Can be a worn rag joint in the steering shaft, worn tie rod ends and/or drag link, or play in the steering gear box.

The first thing you should do is adjust your steering box. There is a nut on top that you loosen to adjust. Make sure you dont over tighten the box. if that doesnt take care of it. Then I reccomend replacing all tie rod ends on the front. Good Luck
