Well, rinoliner would be the way to go...only drawback it aint cheap...but it sure lasts a whole lot longer....i had my top done to the tune of $200 bucks....not bad considering what gelcoat and fiberglass and then paint would have cost...And that's with me working at the bodyshop that did it for me...paints great but unless you use an epoxy grade of paint first time you go wheelin and stop at the carwash(late at night of course)you'll blow half your paint off...one other option is undercoating about as tough as rhinoliner and cheaper than paint....Either way you want to get as much of the rust off as possible....hope this kinda gave am idea or two...
