I've been having a He** of a time getting my truck to run. I recently rebuilt the motor and added a Professional Products Typhoon manifold #54126 http://www.professional-products.com/manif...Productford.php and Plenum combo, with a 70mm Throttle Body and EGR plate. This design/setup is similar to the Edelbrock EFI Victor Jr. design, with the exception of the performance.

My question is: Would the speed density be the reason it's not running? Is this intake not compatible?

Thx

No; an intake isn't specific to the style of EFI management. Note that Ford didn't change the intake when they switched from MAP to MAF.
But with speed density the truck's ecm will de-tune for any performance mods I add right? Thus bringing it back to OE adjustments?

I just can't figure out why it won't run. The only difference is the intake and cam when I swapped the motor. Distributor is clocked right, has fuel, spark, etc.

Thanks for the input guys

After further research I discovered that not only were the heads different in years, but they also had completely different cc ratings, and even had completely different intake/exhaust valve sizes. Both were for 302 engines which can be used on the 351W with modification, but with the other mechanical differences they are completely incompatible.

I have attempted to contact the seller several times hoping to resolve the problem and obtain the correct heads. I attempted contact via internet and phonecalls over the last 2 YEARS and never once have they even tried to even take the time to lie to me again. They refuse my calls and messages. Clearly I had been robbed of over $370, and they have no intentions to maintain accountability.

I have also discovered that this last year several others have been ripped off, filed claims and attempted to rectify the problem with no solution. The BBB website gives them an F rating, and they mention that ADC has repeatedly failed to provide legitimate proof that they are a legitimate business. The only thing keeping them from being sued for credit card fraud and internet scamming is the fact that they send you something to complete the erroneous transactions. Good luck even finding them online anymore, they've packed their bags and moved on to other scams.
