There is a 91 Bronco XLT I am looking at that doesn't have a spare tire rack on the back, is this common? I can see the spots on the body where the parts mount, but there isn't anything there. Can I just buy all of the parts and pieces to put it on? Or did this model relocate the spare?

So I just need to hunt for all of these individual parts, or hopefully find one in the junkyard?

PappaB,

Yep. you should be able to find a complete carrier in a yard.

For Local Yard searches, I use

http://www.mypartshop.com/

go thru da drill; make sure you select FORD TRUCK

then since a carrier is not listed, I selected Tail Finish Panel

& found local hits for 92 Broncos..etc...then give the yard a visit or call if not in a reasonable quick drive.

or your local yard can look it up and have it shipped..but that will include S&H and mark-up $ over a Pick & Pull yard's prices.

GL!

Cool, thanks for the help. I picked it up today (the Bronco that is). Pictures to follow.
