I am brand new to the group and new to Bronco's.  My son-in-law to be has a 1974 Bronco that he has had for about 10 years but has never really got it going very well. It may be almost all original, but I am not sure.  It has a straight, 6-cylinder engine, Three-on-the-tree manual transmission, no power steering as far as I can tell, and drum brakes all around. He'd like to upgrade the transmission to automatic, and put disc brakes all around.  Recently, while driving it, it had an unfortunate breakdown.  A pop and then no power to any of the wheels.  No grinding, now whining, no rattling.  No sounds just no power to the wheels...so I will be posting questions and hoping to get some help.  Thanks in advance.
