I,ll try. Thanks MikeOk Mike,
Yo Chris,"...your saying this sliding and vent both is rare ?..."
more correctly (also as stated, here repeated)
the slide is 1 yr only - oem, no? ('79). The vent is only in a specific package. Do not follow 2nd gen well. Not sure name of the package - it can B seen in the red/white here on these pages.
At the 'round ups' I C few of either, almost -0- w/the vent, anecdotally supporting the above statement...
Yo Chris,
The former sliders aftermarket supplier CL Laurence Inc. (CRL) stopped production a few years
ago. They sold them to body shops, etc.
LMC was their prime seller to consumers such as us.
They don't list any stock.
So, my term, "obsolete" applies in this case. For obsolete parts, I refer folks to a yard search such as:
For a YARD SEARCH on-line, I use;

A yard that uses Hollander Interchange can search other yards and have it shipped including some Canadian yards.
"...For over eighty years, Hollander has been making the best tool for fast, interchangeable part matches. The new Edition Hollander Interchange contains more interchangeable options than ever before.
The Hollander Interchange provides auto recyclers and auto collectors, rebuilders, and others with the easiest and most comprehensive solution for identifying interchangeable auto parts..." See their yard Directory @ Seller Directory | Used Auto Parts | Hollanderparts

Stop by a local Ford dealer parts department and ask about parts interchange They will look it up in the Interchange Guide data base.
The Ford bean counters deleted the public Interchange Guide and Buyer's Guide a few years ago to save their $ & make it more difficult for us to maintain our Broncos.

Pull-A-Part SEARCH INTERCHANGEABLE PARTS INVENTORY, @ SEARCH INTERCHANGEABLE PARTS INVENTORY--------Thank alot Mike. This will be a big help for alot of people. I HEARD that is is a guy in Urbacon,W.Va (Webster Co.) That has alot of Ford truck. Different years(yes some old ones too) Its not too far from me. When I get a few running bug out miles on the bronco. I,ll take a trip down their and look him up. Find out some information and see about taking some pictures. A friend told me the guy is really nice and you mention Ford--he opens up and is real knowledgeable about anything old on Fords. I think he said he even has some old Ford tractors.
I T was a long time. Before I realized I had sliders in one of my bronco. hahaha. I had it about 10 years. I guess I was to busy replaceing worn out parts. hahaYears ago I was interested in putting a set in mine. What stopped me was that they are all clear glass. I like my factory tint more. If they had been an option being factory tint, they would've been installed years ago. Bad enough I have to tint the rear tailgate and doors again
