yo!

Our Main Sponsor here is da Zone has em;

http://broncograveyard.com/bronco/c-159-dana-44-parts.html

Item #32117 - New 1980-93 Bronco; 1980-93 Ford F150 Drivers Side Original Equipment brake dust shield. Driver side. Our Price: $80.00

Now where is their Passenger side shield;

Call em to see if they still have pass side; or it could be my Comcast conn again! We have CC cable and the conn speed is below 1989 dial up speed; and now they have upgades to sell!

or try locally if in a hurry; NAPA, etc.

Call local yards to see if they have a decent set; some do pull those brake parts that have been recently installed before th vehicle wa scrapped esp w/that lousy cash 4 clunkers crap.

for example. 2 months ago someone wrote;

"...Autorecyclingmall.com. Phone 1-888-254-6766. They're $25.00 each, with $15.00 shipping, for a total of $65.00 ..."

Brake Dust Shield

Product Line: Altrom

Compare ATM 1902822 This part can only be purchased from your local NAPA Auto Parts store 76.09 each

Each

I also checked ALTROM Site @ http://www2.altrom.com

ALTROM doesn't list em...lol

For Local Yard searches, I use

Where is your sway bar young man:)

To install new ones im afraid you will need to do some part pulling. They are sandwiched in there pretty good. It looks like you have reasonably new Ujoints in your front drive shaft so im assuming youve taken them apart before. You will need to pull the wheel, caliper/bracket, hub/rotor and unbolt your spindle. Basically everything you would need to do to pull those drive-shafts. Its not a super difficult job depending on the condition of everything but you will need to be able to remove the nut in side the hub. Other than that socket i dont think you will need any special tools. Might be a good time to replace the smaller seal on the back side of the spindle while your there.

It should? If you wheel it leave it off. I have been without for many years and do not miss it much. Just remember that you are driving a 6000 pound brick not a Mustang and you should be fine. I am sure this will open a new debate on swaybars but there you go.

You gots a bunch of rust make sure to have a bunch of PB handy.

Looking at all the parts I need for the sway bar I have decided to just forget about that. As for the shields my mechanic told me its not really a huge deal that there not there... sense the truck will be seeing a lot of trails shit will get in there any way. What do you guys think? at $80 each if I don't need them I don't want them <_<
