Seatbelts

I have recently purchased a 72 bronco. There are no seatbelt front or back. The only trace I can see are a few holes in the floor board on each side of the font seat. I am not sure how to mount new lapbelts. Do I just ***** bolts into those holes, or is there some type of mounting bracket? Also on the rear, I see no holes...maybe I am not looking hard enough. Any recommendations on how to mount rear lap belts? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Kids are dying to take a ride.

There should be two holes on the back side of the front seats. The belt bolts should ***** into the holes.(the spring loaded or retractable belt side are mounted on the door side) There are four bolt holes behind the rear seat. the bolts should just ***** into the holes.

The rear ones should be real obvious..., if not, they may have been filled in.

These belt holes are welded-on nuts & reinforced....way better than making your own.

They req. somewhat special bolts.. i.e. high thread count & usually req. a "star" type allan wrench.

Recommend cleaning the holes well, especially if the bolts have been out for a long time.

A Dremmel with a small wire wheel works.

If the rear is filled with hard filler., punch it out carefully as the tank is just below.

If you have a rollbar., you can get the set-up with the (front seat) shoulder restraint.

Like Seabronc says...best to use a supplier who deals with these items so as to do it once only.
