hey yall,

So Im looking at putting on new body work and someone said to rustproof the inside of the tailgate against moisture, ect... Can this be done with the back of all the body to make it last longer? If so what product should I use to accomplish this? And is this stuff a spray on or a mix and brush type application? Thanx

I think the best thing you can have done is to have Line-X sprayed inside the tailgate and interior of the Bronco. If you want to do it yourself, you can get a can of Herculiner or similar bedcoating material and brush or roll it on. I have a can of ZeroRust that I want to put inside my Bronco after I finish mounting the cage kit. There are other brands, DuraBak being onw that comes to mind. Duplicolor makes a rattlecan version and that's what I used on my tailgate, then painted over it.
