running boards

i think i want to remove my running boards on my 95. are their any negitive affect to the vehicle or are they just a personal preference?

the running boards are just an accessory piece and wont affect anything if you remove them.

If the brackets are not rusted out, post tme for sale here; they are hard to get in non-rusted out condition.

There is less to get hung up on on the trail. Oh wait that is a positive, so yea no negatives. I think it looks better with out.

Also, as fuel prices rise, again, and maybe beyond ... and off-topic now...

Reduce Weight... on Bronco as well!

I may build a step for my Much Better-Half and the little ones on passenger side or go back to the home-made step stool

I hafta pull some tools out as well as some spare parts; I think I'll need an engine hoist to lift the tool bag

Push Bumper will go too, sadly, as well as Tuffy Console, and only keep tank @ 1/2 cap

keep tire pressure up

etc.
