i just picked up a 302 short block today and looked up the casting number. its a 87 truck block. i want to put a different cam in it and would like it to be roller.the one in it does not apear to have the break in coating on it. summit tells me its cam kit will fit it but my research says its not a roller block, will a roller cam and lifter kit fit? How can i tell by looking at it that it will accept a roller cam and lifter set?
