My bronco has been through alot it was used as a police truck a mailman and a few others and its time to fix the exterior and interior. First one of my body panels the one around the wheel on the front passenger side is out of place and every time i open the door it pops and chips paint off the door does anybody know how to align the panels? On the interior the bracket on the passenger side that holds the dash to the wall is broken and shakes every time i hit a bump and im afraid it wear out the other brackets. Also i would like to now if theres a place i could buy a center console for my truck and dill holes for it to go there. Any help would be appreciated this is my first bronco so i know very little.

for the fender there are bolts on the top under the hood, and a couple of bolts at the back below and behind the door. also check to make sure its not your door thats out of wack cause its easier to adjust.

as far as the dash brackets and center console have you tried broncograveyard.com ? other than that scroung around in scrap yards to find one that matches your interior.

good luck

for the dash bracket it looks like it is a black bracket that is part of a long plastic peice that runs across to the drivers side. On the door how do you adjust it i tried loosening those bolts on the fender but the thing wouldnt budge also my bronco was custom made and i didnt see holes for the console can i drill new ones this is off subject but i noticed my front axle is a dana 44 does that come stock on some broncos?

My boss just bought a 95, and when he got it, the brace on the pass. side was broken for the dash. It was moving quite a bit on bumps. Instead of replacing the dash brace,(which is what I am guessing is broken on yours), He used a super epoxy to put the tab back on, then used plastic weld on top of that. Took a bit of time for everything to cure, but now it's solid, and saved alot of work in the end. If you could snap a pic of whats broken, might make it easier for us to give you ideas.

The fender has several bolts that need to be loosened. There are 2 near the fire wall at the top of the fender, 1 on the back end which is visible by opening the door and and looking at the gap about 2/3rds of the way down, 1 inside the fender well near the engine, 1 on the bottom edge by the front of the door, and about 5 or 6 on the front attaching it to the radiator support. You pretty much need to loosen them all to shift the position of the fender. It also helps make life easier if you remove the inner wheel well. To adjust the door properly, you need to remove the front fender, (the reason I say this is that the front bolts on the door hinge are nearly impossible to get at with the fender on, plus it makes the whole alignment job easier). If it already aligns properly with the B post and top, I'd leave the door alone. To shift the door forward and back you need access to the all the door hinge bolts on the A post which are only easily accessible by removing the fender. The procedure is align the door to the top and B post then place the fender in position and align it to the door leaving about a 3/8 gap between the back of the fender and the front of the door. The procedure is some what of a PITA but doable. OR take it to a body shop and let them have all the fun :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> . Steve83 has some pictures at Supermotors that make it easier to see what you are getting into, http://www.supermotors.net/registry/media/672904

As far as the dash, I'm not quite clear about what seems to be broken or loose. It could be as simple as the center metal brace from the dash frame to the fire wall or some other part. If it is the metal brace at the bottom of the dash to the fire wall, I probably have one you can have. Post a picture of the broken part.

Have fun,

:)>-

I will post some pics of the fender and the dash as soon as it gets back from the shop(cracked manifold) i was lucky though cause i snagged a new manifold for 80$. From what i recall the broken part on the dash was missing the peice between the dash and the wall i still have the mount and the bolt though.

YW!

If you can find a 95-96 Bronco Or F series and prob a full sized Van in a yard; pull the bracket- they had the later, better brackets.

or order from your local friendly dealer

F4TZ-1504366-A

or Amazon;

http://www.amazon.com/Ford-F4TZ-1504366-BR...L/dp/B000O0NSSW

Troy Ford is a-OK! Have bought from them via AMAZON a few times; saved over $100.00 Plus NJs 7% sales tax and had free S&H on 2 recent purchases.
