Rear window 1989

hello, first let me say, I am the new guy! That being said the rear window on my 1989 will not go down at either front or rear switch! but will go up no problem at either! has any one hade a similiar problem? Thanks

About the only thing I can see that would allow it to go up from both switches but not down is the dash switch connection to ground on the left of the diagram attached. It could be that it just needs to have the plug removed from the switch and reseated. The ground return for both is through the dash switch.

It's not the ground itself, there are two connections to ground. One is for UP and one is for DOWN. So either the switch has a bad internal connection or the connection from it to ground is bad.
