Rear Gear Oil

I just had my 9" rebuilt with 3:70 in it. Which gear oil should I use? /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

some people say that using synthetics will wreck stuff, but i use royal purlple. hasn't hurt me yet. i've always used synthetic

I've always used 80/90 weight gear oil.

I am using Royal Purple also and have had no issues.

I like Amsoil, or RP. You can go with synthetic......I cant see it causing a problem, and it will outlast conventional gear oil by far.
