Hey everyone. New member with a weird question. Hopefully someone can help me out.
I am building a swamp buggy out of a 82 bronco. We removed the brakes from the 9" rear because they get full of mud and crap. The problem is that we took out the rear drum backing plates and my buddy threw them away. Now when we try to put the axles back in, there is a space between the axle retaining plate and the ****** on the axle. I was hoping someone could tell me the thickness of the brake backing plate where it attaches to the axle so that I can get a spacer made. Any help would be really appreciated.
Thanks in advance!
