So this upcoming Tuesday my bronco will be 6 inches higher running 35's. As of now it has stock gears and 33's. This bronco is mainly a daily driver but will see a good bit of off-road too. I would like to keep a decent gas mileage(if possible) but still be able to drive on the interstate without going too slow. Should I just keep the gears that are in there now or should I look at something else? Also this thing is not used for towing.

I do not know what engine transmission combo you have bet speaking without that knowledge I would say 35s on stock gearing will be a dog. Once you get to speed on the highway you will be ok as long as there are NO hills near you. A 6" lift and 35" tires are going to F up milage anyway you now have a taller heaver brick to move.

That being said I recently re-geared to 4.56 with 32" tires, I love the power I can drive in the mountains very easy. I have not had a chance to find out what it has done to my mileage because I keep wheeling it before I can do a tank of only on road time. IMHO it is worth the little extra gas money.

To be fair the 302 seems to be much happier at 2000-2500RPMs anyway, And with the M5OD I can pretty much keep it there.
