Had a mystery vibration/grinding sound for couple weeks. Never consistent when it would occur and never could find the reason for it. About 2 miles from the house it came and only went away when I drove under 30mph. Called the whole family to join me in the search under my 1985 Bronco. My wife said that rubber thing is broken....here is what I found at the end of the passenger side radius arm. Do you agree this could be the culprit? Replacement comes in tomorrow and should know for certain.

Absolutely..!!!

Mine blew out on two diff. rigs.  One while out 4x4'n.

The noise was so strange & the "feel" really worried me to the point of taking the "easy" route back to civilization.

Same as you.., I found it once in the garage & crawled under.
