hey there, so as a christmas present instead of coal i got hit by a chevy and my baby is totaled!! I found a 460 with a transmission and transfercase for $250 and i was wondering what all is involved in putting it in to my truck, my bronco will no longer be my daily driver, it currently has a 351w with an automatic tranny, i know the transmission im buying is manual, so basically what im looking for is what i need to put that set up in my truck in replacement of the 351w and auto tranny, and how hard itll be, so any help, hints, tips, and tricks are welcome, oh and by the way my bronco is a 1994 xlt if that changes the installation or if it can be done. thanks ahead of time

What year is the engine? you will have to decide if you are going carburated or fuel injection. I am in the middle of a 460 swap in my 89 Bronco.

the 460 is out of a '96 f-350 so its already efi so id prolly leave it that way since i dont know how much itd cost to convert it to carb but carb is alot easier to work on, but fuel injection is more reliable, ughh im indecisive lol. and would you know what manual transmission would bolt up to a '94 5.8, my e40d is blown and i want a manual but im not sure which one to get

why are you looking for a transmission for your 5.8 if you are swapping it out for the 460 that has a tranny?

you will have to for sure put in a clutch pedal and all the hardware to connect it to the transmission. I have no idea what you will have to look into for the computer saftey for the automatic to make sure it doesn't ***** with your starting.
