power steering trouble

in my 79 bronco, i replaced the power steering pump..... bleed the system, it turns to the right fine, but she wont turn to the left, without a struggle.....whats going on ???? got any ideas ??

The first thing to check is all the moving parts of the stearing (tie rods, ball joints, etc.) for damage or binding. But my money is on the stearing gear box.

Edit:

This type of post belongs in the "Tech Support" section. No need to break out the fire proof underwear though, no one will flame you here. A moderator will just move it to the right spot when they get to it.

i did notice extra play in the steering wheel, about 3 inches......, the ball joints and tie rods are new, as a matter of fact the front end has been all replaced, except the steering box. without the power steering there is about 3" of play in the steering wheel... is there a way of solving this problem without replacing the box ????

rebuild it...the kit is 30 bucks on broncograveyard

i scanned through this site in 1979 bronco tech, i found all my answers to my power steering trouble, read all about all the problems it could be, took all your advice aplyed it to my truck....BAM....PROBLEM SOLVED !!! this site is awsome !!! thank you for all the help... >
