All you'll need is new motor mounts. Driveshafts will change length, so you'll need to address that, too. The xfer in your '86 is probably a BW1345, with a 2.72:1 low range. the NP208 has a 2.61:1 ratio, and if I recall it's gear driven, versus the chain drive of the 1345. the 1345 is a good xfer case, but you might want to stick with the 208.

I've been looking at doing the same thing for my '86, but I wanted to stick with a fuel injected 460, and for me all I had to do was make sure I get the computer with the donor truck, and I was pretty much ready to go.

all the parts you may need can be found here

http://broncograveyard.com/bronco/b-555

depending on how drastically different the lengths of the output of the trans and t case you may or may not need to change your shafts.

but Tip with the 208 the front and rear yokes can swap with each other if you ever want to do some custom shaft replacements
