Burns, I recently explained how I did that on a reply to a member who posted asking about putting a winch behind a stock bumper, but since i am computer ********* I will just explain it here rather try to link you to it.
Here goes;
Remove the bumper stiffeners from the back side of the bumper (the flat black plates mounted to the inside of the bumper). I then bought some 2" x 3/4" bar stock, two pieces about 10 inches each. On my 93, I have the accordian section in the front frame rail. Removing the bumper stiffeners reveals that the front most 6" or so of the frame rail is flat. I measured from where the flat part starts forward to the back side of the bumper, then from the front bumper outward to the distance i thought i neede to go. (Mine was a little farther than yours may be, because I had to clear the brush guard). This was the total lenght of each tow point. I then slid the bar stock alont the outside of the frame rail and traced where it touched the inside of the bumper on each side. Next remove the front bumper. I cut out the rectangular hole in the bumper for the bar stock with a dremel. Slide the bar stock through to make sure it fits. Use a drill press to drill the hole in the bar stock for the D-Ring, Clevice, Shackel or whatever you call it. I belive mine required a 15/16" hole. With the bumper still off, mount the bar stock the to the frame rail with Grade 8 bolts. I used two bolts per side, with one mounted in the top front corner of the flat section of frame and on in the bottom rear of the flat part of the frame. Slide the bumper into place and attach D-Rings. BTW, after all of the holes were drilled into the bar stock, I painted it black with Rustoleum to protect them. Have used a couple of times on some deep stucks with no problems.
