I have a 78 with a c6 tran, the guy I bought it from side he rebuilt tranny. But broke some plastic peace off that put tran in park. That was no big deal to me, but now tran is not wanting to shift into higher gear unless I let off the gas. And also will not shift into 2nd gear at all. Looked on jeffs bronco zone for parts but dont really know what to look for. Any help would be great. Thanks

That sounds more like the vacuum modulator to me. Are you sure it is hooked up? there should be a vacuum hose from the vacuum tree on the manifold to the modulator on the lower right side of the transmission. If it is hooked up, then the modulator may be bad. the modulator is color coded. If you get a new one, you need to get one with the same color code.
