I have a 1967 Bronco of which I replaced the inline 6cyl and stock 3speed tranny with a 5.0L intended for a 1993 mustang and an NP435. The only parts that I am lacking are the clutch and flywheel. As I am understanding it, I need a 164tooth 50oz flywheel and clutch as used in like an 86 F150. Can anyone tell me if this is correct?

Hey I noticed you haven't had any responses to your question so hopefully this will resurface the issue. Hopefully you've already gotten your answer by other means but in case you haven't....

Did you buy the NP 435 new - seperate from the motor? If so, you could probably get your answer from the motor vendor, they'll probably know. Or visa versa on the trans. If not (you may have purchased these new or used from a friend or contact) I would contact Wild Horses, Jeff's Bronco Graveyard, or Tom's Bronco Parts. Most guys you talk to at these places are happy to help out.

Surely someone can respond with some sure enough expert advise....anyone?

Sorry, missed this question as well....

Yes 164 tooth with 50 oz imbalance...

The 86 should use the same clutch as your EB would have if it had been a V-8 from the factory.
