What happened is: I was driving on a dirt road and i hit a hole in the road (approximately 35 MPH) with my left wheels, and a violent tremor was felt through the car and my engine died instantly, check engine light came on.

I have a spark on all 8 spark plugs, and fuel pressure on the fuel rail. Engine cranks fine but no start up.

Fuel pump inertia switch has not triggered.

I have tried to pull fault codes, but my code reader isn't starting self test. only a continious soud signal and light.

I have also tried to change the ECM to a ECM pulled from a 1992 F-150 with the same engine and transmission.

I'm at a loss, what can cause this and what can i check next?

Any help appreciated

Regards

Corsair

Thank you. I'm going to try that.

I'll let you know how it goes.
