Hey all. just found this site after ordering parts from BroncoGraveyard. I am currently on my third bronco with-in the last 15 years or so. The first was a '86 which I had for about 4 months when I rolled it three times down the side of a mountain. The second was a '87 that I drove back and forth to work everyday putting on around 150 mile per day, thats when gas was CHEAP!! This one nickled and dimed me to death, but it taught me a lot about fixing everything that could go wrong. Anyway I bought with 179,000 miles on it, but it had a pretty fresh Jasper motor. I traded that one in with 400,000 miles on the complete truck. Most everything had been re-work or replaced. The used car lot that i bought the one I have now offered $1,500.00 for it toward the trade-in on the '93 that I have now. It had 88,000 miles on it and now it has 183,000+. This one has been pretty good to me. The only major work that has been done , was to have the trans rebuilt when it blew the front pump seal. Since it was coming out anyway I had the mechanic install a TransGo heavy duty shift kit for a couple of hundred extra. It really made a big difference. One new water pump and a new alternator (170 amps) to run my CB equipment. I have been driving a company vehicle for the last 8 years and only ran the truck every couple of weeks to go to the dump. With no garage and it sitting all the time RUST started to take over. I just picked up a tailgate from a salvage yard that was in great shape no rust inside or out. My 17 year old son is now driving it after he rolled his Jeep wrangler and totaled it, must run in the family HA HA!!! OH well that probably enough for now. I'll add a couple of pics of my Bronco and maybe one of what was left of my son's Jeep. No one was hurt. He walked away alittle sore but a lot wiser HOPEFULLY.
