Hi my name is John and came over from FSB hoping to find some answers, IM from MO and been unable to drive my truck for about a year and a half.

hehenahh, I rebuilt the engine about year and ahalf ago and since then hasn't started, cranks fine, no power at coil, one of the primary ignion wires gets REALLY hot, pulled out the enitre harness out and found NO exposed wires that could ground it out. so im thoughly confused, checked fuses, replaced coil, ignion mod., ing. swit., and when I rebuilt it I put an reman OEM dist. back in it. and tryed the batt. to coil trick still nothing, and boilied an ACCEL coi0l. any ideas?

Make sure you have ground from battery to engine, battery to rad support and engine to firewall. all grounds must be tight and on clean bare metal

enigne to firewall is hooked engine to batt. hooked, but never found batt to rad sup..... but would the batt to rad really do this???

Your dist plug, is it hooked up? looks unplugged in the pic

yes in the pic it is unplugged, but everything was still being put in place when the engine went back in.

does any body have a pick to the ignion mod. mounted to the inner fender well , more towards teh connectors?
