I recently just bought a 1996 ford bronco all original. Its a Eddie Bauer with 120K and everything is mint. No paint or interior problems. Before i bought the truck the owner installed newbrakes and lines. He also installed a new battery, starter, cylinoid and tires. The problem is that i was enchanted with the broncos interior and exterior so much i didnt look under the truck. It has some rust but i dont think its to extensive, flaky but its been sitting for a few years. What can i do to perfect my Bronco and fix the underside???

Welcome to Bronco Zone and congrats on buying a great Bronco!!! There's many rust-fighting products on the market, what you use can depend on the price you're willing to pay and how bad the rust is. For surface rust, or rust that has not eaten a hole through the metal, I prefer to use OSPHO applied with a brush. Let it sit 24 hours, then sand, primer and paint. There's also POR-15 or Rust Bullit, which are paint-type products you can apply over the surface rust after minor prep (cleaning away grease and dirt). If the metal is rusted through, the best course of action is to cut out the area and weld in new metal. There's several recent threads on repairing rear quarter panels, floorpans, etc. you can look through for tips. Any pics you can provide will help give us a better idea of what you're dealing with. I spent about 4 months restoring my 84 Bronco frame using OSPHO, RustO-leum primer and Dupli-Color spray-on bedliner. I'll give you a link to the pics, JSM84

I also have a write-up comparing OSPHO to "Restore", another rust inhibitor product:
