I picked up a Dana 44 font end yesterday for $100! I am not sure what is was off or the gears, but I know it is full width, passenger side drop and full time hubs. I want to use it on my EB and am fine with most of the mods that need to be done. The one problem I am running into is changing the rotors from 5/4.5 to 5/5.5. Dose anyone make a rotor for this and a link to get one?

Swapping rotors & bolt patterns is pretty easy, I'll have to dig thru my links for something that shows how it's done. In the meantime, did you happen to *measure* that D44 before you bought it ? Although, for $100 it ought to be pretty easy to flip the thing if you need to.

Dana 44 with 5 on 4.5" hubs???

The only one I can think of was the late 70s early 80s Dodge w/ unit bearings (possibly axle disconnect) and no hubs...not worth its weight in salt really...

You will need to change everything from the knuckle out, and may need a conversion u-joint from inner axle to outer...

And thats only if the ball joints interchange!

It can probably be done, but you may end up with a real mix n match of parts to make it work.

Hey, guess what, it's back on e-bay. Dodge full time four wheel drive off a 70ish power wagon. Well, you learn something new every day. Maybe someone will want the diff and steering knuckles. Too much work as far as I am conserned.
