ryan49, I'm in the same dilemma, just running stock 460 manifolds for now. I did test fit a set of the L&L headers, but there is a question on fitment for the front driveshaft, since i did not have that installed at the time. Most set-ups I've seen have to go with shorty headers to clear the ds, or modify a set of longtubes. I do not believe that the Flowtech truck headers will fit. Alot will depend on the year of your 460 translplant, and whether it's cafbed or EFI. I'm running a carb, but still using the EFI heads (E7TE). JSM84

Ive been looking into the fenderwell headers, I emailed the company because their listing only shows for 78/79 F250 I want to know why they only fit 78/79. That would eliminate any driveshaft issues

you could make long tube headers fit the way the previous owner did with mine. put em in and drive it in four wheel drive let the drive shaft smoosh them. Just kidding... I just heated mine up with a torch and beat them in about 1/4 inch. they did break through from stretching so I had to drill the ends of the cracks, cut a little piece of sheet metal weld it shut. so far I havent noticed any problems, I was a little worried about uneven back pressure but I dont think it was enough to make much difference. maybe someone has advice on that... shortys or fenderwell headers would be easier by all means.
