Hi guys my name is Chris and I am, obviously, new here. I am from Akron, Ohio and I am in the process of purchasing a 1985 Ford Bronco II but I was hoping I could get some information from some of you before I do so. My current insurance company (Gieco) won't insure it because of the lift size. So, I was wondering if any of you know what insurance companys are a little more lenient on the insurance of lifted vehicles. Thanks a lot guys.

Welcome to the site. how big is the lift? I have never ran into any problems but I never really told them that it was lifted either.

Thanks... uuum I feel like an idiot but I am not sure how high the lift is and I don't really know how I could tell. I just told the insurance company 4-6 inches and they told me if it was 6+ they won't insure. Can you really just not tell them its lifted?

Yeah so I'm sorry and I feel stupid for not knowing but I haven't been able to ask the man how high the lift is and I don't know how to tell otherwise I would drive down the road and check...
