I finally got my first Bronco, But I am Having an awful time get my trailer light se-up to work. I purchased a t-plug set-up from O'Reilly's and I can't get it to work. Is there someting I need to know thats special, like does this thing have a positive ground, or am I better of hooking it up the old fashon way and just splicing into the tail lights?

Thanks

James

What year? Engine size? Do tell more!

To help ya out, the Ground is Negitive. Would be nice to know what kit you got from O'Reilly's. What I do know is, the revious owner of my Bronco Did wiring the old faction way, and wired straight into the tail lights. It works. Just don't cross any of the wires. :p /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Well its a 1991 with a 302 I think that what the seller told me ,I purchased it with 98,000 he told me the motor was rebuilt at 93,000. I have only put on about 3000 miles. It has what I thought was a reese hitch but turned out to be a U-haul hitch, so it had crazey wire plugs connected to the tail light bulbs. the lights I got from O-reilly's is a Hopkins wiring kit #40425 thats supose to plug directly into the OEM wiring The first time I tried I didn't have a right blinker this time I don't have any blinker lights. So I am thinking about just doing it the old fashon and just splice into the lights instead of useing the plug in system.

thanks James
